Quartz Filters
Normal cover glasses of CCD/CMOS sensors transmit only light down to 350nm. When sensors are e.g. coated with an UV coating, the standard cover glass has to be replaced by a quartz window.

Interference Filters
Available are a wide range of different types. Beside laser line filters we can also provide filters with a larger spectral range of transmission.
You can find a detailed list of all available filters on our page about interference filters or in our pdf overview .

Double Refraction Filters
As a result of leaking fill factors and color masks images taken with CCD or CMOS cameras often show aliasing effects or colored fragments within black-and-white objects. Double refraction plates separate the incident rays of light into ordinary and extraordinary polarized rays with different spatial locations. This can be used to make sure that each pixel gets part of the information of the adjacent pixels by acting as an spatial optical low pass. This mostly eleminates the above mentioned imaging errors.
The distances between ordinary and extraordinary rays are proportionate to the thickness of the double refraction plate. Due to this fact it is possible to manufact plates for nearly any pixel pitch. The plates are available in some standard sizes. Customized sizes are possible for larger OEM volumes.

Infrared Filter
| For applications in the infrared, EURECA MESSTECHNIK offers the LP−750. The price−performance ratio is much better than for the usually used IR−filter made of glass. This filter is made of synthetic polymer, 1mm thick with optically polished surfaces. At higher quantities other thicknesses are available on request. The polished surface enables the use of the filter also in imaging applications directly in the path of rays.
The location of the value of half transmittance is at 750 nm. This means that the visible light is blocked and infrared light is let through with high transparency. This filter is suitable for applications whose wavelength is at 850 or 880nm, as in high−power−LED−illuminations.

To avoid disturbing reflections, the LP−750 can be put directly on CCD−or CMOS−sensors. For purposes of illumination it is also available with a dimmed anti−reflex coating.
Another advantage of this filter is its simple way of processing: it can get slit to brake it. Another possibility is jet cutting which we offer at larger numbers. Herewith, (almost) every dimension can be realized.
The LP750 is available in four thicknesses. The following standard sizes can normally be delivered from stock. Different sizes have delivery times of 1-2 weeks.
